plastering for wall

Post by nm7427 »

My house which is under elevation construction stage all three sides external plastering is done except front side where in elevation work is going on . Now the some portion of wall where elevation isrequired the mestri has drilled 3 inch deep holes in wall and 12 mm in dia 9 inch in length steel rods and then he has used steel rods and steel mesh to get projected shape , now he has not plastered the wall for projected area , Now I suspect that the rain water might seep in between wall and project area and walls will be wet , Mestri says water will not seep in between wall and projected area

Need a suggestion /recomendation here .

i think you better get it plastered even if you have the slightest of doubts. it doesn't cost him a lot either.

Use FOSROCK SBR while plastering. U can use lock fix chemical to fix the reinforcement

Hi Ravi /Nag
Thanks for the response he has removed the mesh and cement and is doing plastering on the wall now . I had tested wall by pouring water and there was seepage so he has agreed to wall palstering as well

thanks
