Looking for Vizag or SAIL dealers near OMBR Layout, Banaswadi

Hi all
I'm planning to construct a duplex house on 20*30ft site in OMBR Layout.
I'm planning to use steel rods from primary steel manufacturers like Vizag, SAIL. There's no vacant plot nearby to store large quantity of materials. I need a reliable dealers list who sells without any restriction on min order quantity.

Vizag and SAIL have only very few dealers. There is one in Unity Building (Kushalesh Steel - good pricing too http://www.ksteel.in/) , he will transport to anywhere in Bangalore.

Couple of things to note while buying these two. The Steel usually comes from North India, and they in a goods train with no top for about 2 months (as told by a vendor) . They face the weather for 2 months, and hence they have significant coating of rust. Please see if you are Ok with it.

My relative works in CPWD, he advised me to go for Primary Steel producers from quality point of view. What about other primary steel producers... Which one do you used Ganesh?

JSW is primary steel (along with Tata Tiscon, SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Vizag etc) and Tata and JSW are approved for metro construction this means they pass all chemical and physical tests of metro work. Other heavily advertised 500D steels only pass physical but not chemical tests.

Since JSW comes from Bellary it is cheaper then Tata , Sail or Vizag steel due to lower transport cost (only 400Km compared to 1000- 1500km).

If you buy in lots of 5 Tonn you will get delivery from factory truck and get shiny rods with 0 rust.
I have used JSW neo 500D throughout my construction.
I tried buying SAIL earlier however SAIL dealers were not interested in selling 3 to 5 tonne lot and never bothered to return my calls. JSW authorized dealer was ok with even 1 ton.
Steel does not need much space and 3 to 5 tonne you can easily buy in lots of 3 to 5 T.
You will need only this much only at any stage ( footing+ plinth , Slabs) for average house in 40x60 or 30x40 plot.

I have used only JSW. The quality of the product is very good.

I enquired Kaushalesh and other dealers. Quoted price is attached as Image.
As 550D is better than 500D, I'm planning to go for JSPL or JSW.

A tip. Please ignore if you know it already. Please don't just go by the price alone.

Dealers cheat on the weight to balance out price discount they give you. Take the ready reckoner and assess the weight before hand (Given the number of rods, it will tell you the weight to 99% accuracy)

They might mix some not so shiny TMT (usually returned by some customer) .. if you can check at the time of loading, it will save you a lot of hassle

Find nearest weighing bridge from your site get the delivery truck weighted before and after the delivery to find exact quantity delivered and pay as per delivered weight
Do not accept +/_ 5% condition delars put this as precondition. This is common method of cheating.

Also go to JSW / Tisco website and get list of authorized dealers many steel vendors try to push secondary steel local brands citing some imaginary supply distribution.
