Construction Cost

I am planning to start the construction of my 30x40 west facing site in B.Narayanapura. The contractor is quoting Rs.1800 per Sqft for a G+2 as "material contract" (excluding few things like sump, compound wall , earth pit etc). Is it the current market price in this area?

Hi Shreeni,
Costing comparison should always be read with material specifications, just by per sft can lead to many loose ends.
Current market price for construction starts from 1600/- per sft ( basic apartment quality finishes )
1800/- ( mid range finishes ), 2200/- per sft ( good finishes and workmanship ).
