Terrace Water proofing

I received quotation for my house terrace water proofing (1000 SFT terrace + 250 SFT parapit wall)
Appreciate your advice. Not sure it worth to spend Rs. 75000/- for terrace water proofing

WaterProofing works over the Terrace :- Surface is thoroughly Cleaned to remove Laitance, and Brush apply 1 primer coat of prime seal with diluted ration 75 to 25 percent and allow to dry for 4hrs, Brush apply 1 coat of New coat with Geo textile 40 GSM in a span of 4hrs over the primed surface, Followed by 2nd coat of New coat .Air cure for 3 days prior to complete functional usage

Contractor quoted Rs. 60 / SFT

Thank you Satish. I tried to follow the post. It is useful and lot information to digest.

I checked few youtube videos to understand NewCoat. Dr FIXIT web site suggest a cost 12 Sq Ft / Litre of NewCoat. Cost of newcoat is 5500/- per 20 Ltr.
Cost of prime seal RS 5200 for 20 ltr and 1 ltr covers 8 sq mtr.

Total material is Rs 30000/- approx for 1000 sq ft.
So I assume I have to understand work scope and to negotiate on labor charges.
