Help in deciding the motor HP for borewell

Dear members,

i wanted some help on deciding the motor hp since the terms are very confusing.My plot is on Hosa road in KPC Layout.Water we got is at 1250ft after which we dug upto 1320ft, they told it is 1inch water.We got the water level checked after 1week using camera and they told us the water level is at 570ft and the water head is 1200ft.What does this mean and what hp motor would be required for well of this depth.Will 1inch water be sufficient for domestic purpose?
