LPG cylinder Storage ........

Post by sahu.mgse »

Dear Members;
My house is under construction....
I am looking for some suggestion regarding LPG cylinder storage, what should be the arrangement (any special by civil structure) to keep the LPG cylinder outside the kitchen. Presently i have planned in utility area which is adjacent to kitchen.
If any one has already made and solved the issue , can they send the image of the same.

thank you

I wouldn't recommend place next to kitchen or any place inside the house for LPG's. I have basement and my house starts 6ft above ground level so i have entrance staircase and im making use of the space below staircase for cylinder.Reason is :
1) safety , both for us and for building structure , in cas eof an , god forbid, accident
2) ease of shifting cylinders, close to road, cylinder guy doesn't have to come inside house.
3) Space utilisation, iam anyway not using the space beneath staircase for anything other than footwear sand.

No special structure is needed for cylinders as nothing can withstand in case of emergncy.However iam making sure of good ventilation and grilled structure to prevent theft.
