I am planning to make shoe rack behind main-door wall (after door opening). Since brick wall is about to start in that area . looking for suggestions or comments with regards to size (2'9" (w) x 2'6" x 8" ?????????) and feasibility.

I have made a 15" deep, 5'x26" with three racks. Estimated to hold atleast 15 pairs of footwear.

how did you manage 15" depth?

sahu, My shoe case is not on the wall but standalone in the carpark so depth is not a problem. You could project behind the wall (mesh box?)
