Hi,
Building's Internal plastering is complete. I am thinking of finishing flooring and wall tiles work while the external plastering is still on, so that the work gets completed soon. But, the mestri is telling that they would mix the cement inside the building and pass the cement to outside walls through the window grills while doing the external plastering. Is there a way both external plastering and flooring work can happen simulteneously without any problems? Please suggest if any options....

Solution 1. i think it is very good plan . Ask the mestri to mix the cement inside the house only . But let him use the proper tarpal so that flooring wont spoil . and you personally monitor so that they will cover the flooring properly ...
Solution 2 : Let them mix the cement out side the building for the Ground and first Floor . If it is more than 2 floors let him mix the cement in the terrace for the second floor ..

Hi yogi
one cannot give birth to a baby in 6 months .If you are delayed by too many months and your commercials will hit badly then think of doing it.
Our masons are not so professional to handle mixing cement mortar on finished tiles with out damaging it.Never ever start any finishing work unless until civil (pure cement mortar based).
Placing a plastic sheet on tiles and mixing is done only if its little mix and in apartment renovation case where in there is no place to mix ,that too they do it in balcony floor laying a solid ply on tiles.
Its next to impossible to mix the cement at ground and carry to first or second floor for plastering.

Agree completely with the views of Praveen here. It's never recommended to start the flooring until the plastering is 100% complete.
