Different CD No. in EC and Sale Deed

Hello,

I am interested in buying a property. Now there is a different CD No. on the registered Sale Deed and the EC. Some one said it is possible when the property has been shifted from one Sub-registar to another Sub-registrar jurisdiction. Is this true? How serious is this issue?

Any quick advice / insight on this matter will be helpful.

pls check with concerned registrar office first, if mistake in entry then they may give letter to District Registrar, then they will take action and rectify
