How toTrack- cement & steelprice
Re: How toTrack- cement & steelprice
I am happy that MS steel & cement is not getting traded as a "commodity", as you see with bullion & other precious metals. Else, these prices would be handcrafted by few individuals. You can relate this to the pricing of electrical consumables/ sanitary accessories, where in the delear/ distributor will have his own retailing price.
I also understand that if you approach a main dealer rather than a retailer, you might end up saving approx 2K/ ton on steel, while Birla super quotes 305 with the main dealer, while some of the small retail shops quotes 325. This would be a direct saving of 20rs/ bag.
PS: I am at the moment shortlisting vendors for the materials. Would any one suggest the main dealers for steel/ cement around JP Nagar/ bannerghattta???
