Just because u are ignorant about the Metro in Anjanapura does not mean it is a fake story. Get your facts right first and then lead people - not "mislead".

Since the last 6 months, Government has been screaming in all newspapers and all internet websites are abuzz with discussions on this great news in Phase II of Namma Metro to Anjanapura from Puttenahalli, as an extension.

Most recent news about it was in Times of India, Page 3, dt. 9.12.2011, titled "Metro 1st Phase by Dec 2013".

Before making your above comment about "fake stories", a simple google search of "Anjanapura + Metro" would have given u a 100 results with proof about the fact. Stop blaming others or accusing others for your "ignorance".

Rightly said @Ravikanth. Metro via Anjanapura is NOT a fake story. BMRC has already submitted proposal for phase 2 of metro which also has a 6.3 km stretch extension from puttenahalli to anjanapura. Like RAvikanth said, this info is widely available in newspaper and news sites online. As per a few reports, govt will start the tendering process early next year for phase 2. Which means it will easily be atleast 6-7 years for it to be inaugarated (phase 1 tendering was done in 2006 and the entire phase will be completed only by 2014). Moreover none of the reports suggest the exact alignment and stations. Hence its hard to predict how land rates will be affected becoz of metro, till the exact plans are out. Depending on the location, the nearest metro station can anywhere be from a few hundred metrest upto 5-6 kms from your site .

Not just puttenahalli-Anjanapura line, the gottigere-IIM line planned in phase 2 will also impact real estate pricing in Anjanapura particularly 9-11 blocks closer to BG road.
