only sub-mercible pump works for this kind of depth.
don't even dream about Monoblock pumps.

Hi Velu,

i wont suggest bore.
its better not to go for bore for just 3/4" - 1" water at 550 ft. better have a sump and get water by tankers.

why spend lakh + for 0.75" - 1" water at 550 ft depth. weigh all options.

2HP with 30 stage should suit your needs. water Depth factor = Stage x 22 Feet, which in this case would be 30 x 22 = 660 feet. This will also help you to use the same pump to drive the water all the way to the overhead tank in a conventional G + 2 house !!
