Is It necessary to Place an Ad in a Publication before reg

Hi Everyone,

After extensive serach, i have finally finalised a site in a BSK 6th Stage BDA Layout, the papers were given for legal approval & i got a nod from my lawyer to go ahead but before registration have been advised to place an Ad in any of the publication, in case anyone has had an agreement or the sellers family has a problem, they could get back. The seller is a direct allotee.

Is the paper ad reqd for a BDA site?

Hi,

For any property transaction it is better to put ad in the news papers.This is for a precaution to be taken before registering. Apart from the property ownership, you will not be knowing if any case ia pending in the court or the property is pledged for some loan or something. So, if you put the ad in paper, the resprctive people will respond to it. Evenif they dont respond the issues goes to court, then you can produce the ad(public notice to be perticular)in the court. Your argument will stand in the court. So it is better to spend some Rs. 10k now to avoid hassles later.
Also, note that it is better to put the notice in national news paper rather than local papers.

Thank you for your advice. Will inform the seller about the same. I think he should agree if there is no problem.
