Borewell water issue!!!

HI guys,

We have a bore well dug deep 800 ft. It functioned well for 3 odd yrs. Lately bore well motor was removed for some repair work and due to this mud or something closed the bore well and we had to refit the motor at 350 ft only. Now, for some 6 months we had enough water, but now water is dried up and no water from bore well. What can i do to again rejuvenate the bore well to get water???

try doing Rainwater Harvesting by direct recharging of borewell casing pipe, it may help in activating the aquifers of water source at 350 ft again.

RWH might be a shorter term gain and may not work out also. From the long term solution, its better to clean the bore well. Contact a good borewell drillers, to clear the silt or anything else stuck in the bore well and install the borewell to the earlier depth itself.

Hi,
If there is a possibility for re-bore the same go for it.Check with a good borewell guy.You need minimum working space to install machine for re-bore.As MSN 1270 suggested you can get the bore cleaned with pressurized water (bore well companies can do it)
