What is special about BDA sites?

when i hear people talking about BDA sites... The simply say BDA sita????

so i'm asking... why BDA site ? wats special in it ? Are the site price low while purchasing ? Will all their layouts built will be famous?

Specially... Recent layout notification - Arkavathy layout

wat is special about Arkavathy layout ?
where is this layout?

I am not quite sure about Arkavathy layout. But in general most of the BDA sites are genuine and possiblity of fraud is less. BDA's acquisition is ruled out(99% ),easy to get the Khata,Electrical,BWSSB connection,building plan approval etc.
In a nut shell, if the titles are clean, then everthing else will be hasslefree...
But for new BDA layouts, have to wait ( & wait & wait) for development..
