Wooden flooring pros and cons

Hi,
I thought of going with Wooden flooring over drawing room alone. Wanted to get a view on the pros or cons of this.

Looking at the price i found that wooden flooring is more or less coming at the same price of Vitrified tiles .

if any one has any contacts of wooden floor vendors pls do share with me
