Hi,
I am getting exterior painting done by a contractor.
It is a materials contract.
On one wall he says he has done crack filling followed by two coats of apex ultima. From an angle it looks weird with all crack fillings visible. Is this normal ?
See the attached photo...

Hi Sholla
These are visible in some angle because of texture differences. Original wall plastering has sponge finish and the crack filler has blade finish. This is expected in these cases. You can ignore it if its not seen from front face.
Ideally he could have tried matching the crack filler top surface using sponge, its takes time and need to be asked right at the start of the contract work.

Thanks, I was under the impression that a
second coat will completely cover these
fillings. So was surprised to see this.
