Hi,
I am not against any one venturing into the construction field as contractors, currently 95% of contractors in the market are not professionally qualified but learnt on field for more than 20+ years and doing fantastic jobs on ground.
I always wonder when someone wants to use "IITian" tag as a launching pad in the construction field without showing their credentials or knowledge as just a marketing tool.
70-80% contractors in this field are honest in the business but it's so unorganized sector that they fail to match owners expectations or they fail to set the owners expectations before starting the work .
For any civil or interior contractor finalization I highly recommend checking their real on ground experience.

Using a tag etc i agree should be market criteria, i dont know how we arrived at 75% number of contractors being so good

I hardly have seen people having good experience due to not having a professional n honest approach. People are willing to pay extra if they are assured of agreed quality and surpass expectations.

I am sure lots of people in this group join to get valuable info and support, we shud promote good teams
