Rashmi if your sump walls are not constructed consider option of FRP sump instead of RCC once more.
I asked question on FRP vs RCC here got good advise and even my architect suggested FRP but somehow listened to contractor amd later
Regretted my decision.
A lot.of care needs to be taken in RCC sump for leakage prevention since big sump can not be cast in single casting.
You can use the sump bottom concrete you have laid as base for FRP.

Both from cost and performance point of view FRP works better.

I later got to know in the layout ahere my house is there are 15+ year old FRP sumps working perfectly.

Rashmi if your sump walls are not constructed consider .
No we have completed sump and plinth. But will definitely consider your suggestion for a rented house which we are planning next year .

After site mud filling and allowing for land settlement, we did paya with 2-3 course throughout the site. Once after paya, we did complete plinth and then again did mud filling and did water curing for land settlement. Attaching the images of the same.

Btw, look at this image. The bricks seen are the bricks of sump(water tank ) of the neighbour. Even if we had done slight mistake, there were chances of damage. So any members planning to building sump, never do the same mistake. Keep sump walls at least 8 inches within your plot and not keep it in boundaries which has the potential of damage when your neighbour plan to do anything.
