Hi all,
We are planning to into a 3bhk home in jnanabharati which has wardrobes in bedrooms and kitchen has storage and chimney. No false ceiling.
I need suggestions recommendations on shops or order made furnitures shops for solid wood (suggestions needed on rubber wood, teak or others) beds, dining table, sofa, tv unit, study tables.
Suggestions on lighting options for bed, living, kitchen, study (without false roof options)

Most Ply based furniture, the stores use very low end, MDF Ply and average quality laminate. It will start warping, cracking or peeling in 2 or 3 years, though it looks great at the time of buying. If you want something that lasts 10 years, buy a good quality ply, hire a good carpenter and get it done yourself. It will be strong and robust and easily last 10 years without a repair..
For wood based furniture, if you need reliable one, go with Karnataka Govt Forest department's store.. it is located near Mysore Road satellite bus stand.. it is little expensive, but you get reliable quality
Brand Damro, Urban Ladder are good too.. some pepperfry products are good, better see that in the showroom before buying..
