RMC in smaller quantities for pillars
RMC in smaller quantities for pillars
I am not very comfortable with manual mixing of concrete, especially for pillars. I keep hearing from people that it is possible to obtain rmc in smaller quantities. Can you please guide me how to get it? I need it for about 14 pillars. Are there any pitfalls in using RMC for it?

Re: RMC in smaller quantities for pillars
Hello sir,
You can get RMC in smaller quantities depends on the RMC nearby & their schedule, but pouring concreting for columns is a time-consuming process, you will start losing strength if you don't pour within 2.5 hrs after batching.
I suggest, if you seriously worried about the quality of mixing, you can have a mini mixture, and ensure right proposition ie if M20 the ratio should be 1:1.5:3.
