GOOD NEWS for First Block SMV Layout residents.
Laying of the 100 feet tar road in First Block has started today after performing the Pooja. This road connects the Kengeri Ring Road to the Double Road. The laying of the tar road would be completed in the next couple of months after which there will be tremendous improvement in the connectivity to our first block from both sides.

any lakes or rajakaluve comes inside vishweshwaraih layout?

can anyone tell me are they demolishing the building which are there in buffer zone also? or only the buildings which are on top of SWD?
if they demolish buidings on buffer zone too then it will be a width of 157 feet.

The association met with constituency MLA Mr. S T Somashekhar today. His help has been requested to resolve various infrastructure issues in 1st Block SMV Layout.

Anybody, starting or started construction in 1st block SMV Layout.

Hi Friends,

This is with respect to the asphalting (tarring) of the 100 feet road in 1st block connecting Ring road and double road in 1st block. As you all might know, work started during mid Aug 2016. The current status is that, the laying of drainage is done. Now, only the laying of the tar road is pending which would take about 10-15 days only to complete after starting.

The contractor has bought materials required for tarring and stored it on the road itself. But however, he is not starting the laying of the tar road and has stopped the work suddenly. There is no clue when he is going to resume the work.

Hence, I request all the friends here who are the owners of plots/houses in 1st block to unite and come forward to communicate this delay to the BDA commissioner. If the commissioner comes to know about this unreasonable delay, he will in all probabilities give strict timelines to the contractor for completion of this road project.

Please call/email the commissioner and urge to complete the tarring of the road as early as possible.

With respect to the ongoing 100 feet road, The members of the Residents welfare association met Mr. Rajkumar Khatri (BDA commissioner) last week.
The issue of the work being stopped was brought to the notice of the commissioner. He was very co-operative and helpful.
He has instructed his team of engineers that 100 feet road work should be resumed and completed as early as possible.

Overall, must say that the commissioner is the people's man, he is accessible and approachable for any infrastructure or development issues of the public.

Yes! The 100 feet road work has been resumed. Since 80% of the work is already completed and only 20% is pending, very likely by this month end the road would be complete.. Cheers !!!
