Re: WINDOWS DESIGN SUGGESTIONS
Hi Keerthi2006,design cues for living area also depends on your needs. If you don't mind large French windows or bay type Windows if your privacy is unaffected they really give a grand look.I personally went for a bay window design for my dining area as I thought I could use it for seating an adult or kids as my dining area is about 10x10feet.This was after discussion with my engineer and he too agreed it would be a useful modification. So if you make suitable changes in conventional design based upon your need.

Do you have a floor plan for your house? Which side of your site is facing what? What are the views from the living and dining rooms? Lot of factors need to be considered when you design the windows so that you get enough privacy, enjoy views, ventilation and light is taken care of. Have you employed an architect for your house design? He should be able to answer most of these questions.
