Cost per Square of Construction

I would like to know the exact cost per square for construction of 2 houses, total sqft area , is 2660 sft (roof to roof) + 2 sump tanks . approvals are completed.

I am not looking for very hifi designs , just regular salwood windows / upvc windows will suffice. I am looking for branded electrical and plumbing fittings like Cera / hindware and GM switches , with vitrified tiles and normal wall tiles.

from what I heard from places , it ranges anywhere between 1.65 L to 1.75 L for such configuration. Please also let me know someone who can build for me in that budget ?

Without interiors, going rate is anywhere from 1.6L to 2L for no-frills construction.

Hi Sudheer,

As per you requirement, yes your construction range should be anywhere from 1.6 to 1.75.

I did a construction with similar requirement of yours which worked out at 1.6/Sq ft for me. Please PM me if you require contractor details.Thanks!

I have recently constructed my duplex in 1500 sft plot in time and with quality
Based on your requirement it should cost from 1450 to 1550 /sft i.e., 1.45L to 1.55L per 100 sq feet
