Paul, the issue is the corrupt folks in the system. Currently, everyone hesitate to use the sand because of quality. Since M Sand is not tested and tried we don't any information.

Either Govt should educate and solve the problem or we should see a house which is built in m-sand of age 10years. I know all the apartment are built with M-Sand but
individual owner still insists for sand due to lack of awareness. I haven't came across technical literature on how to use M-Sand or Ready Mix.

Awaraness is the only way get out from the corrupt folks...

However, i brought not so great quality sand of hassan for 32k.

@paul

Even when you consider present cost of sand, it is still cheaper compared to ready mix plaster, almost half

Hi,

Could i get any references for river sand? I am starting construction of our home at Bannerghatta Gottigere area. Any idea where i can go and visit like sand lorries stand, to check?
As i'm still not convinced on using m-sand, hence the question.

Thanks,
Ramki
