House construction on 30*50 in Carmelaram

Hello All,

I am following this site for couple of months and this is my first post.

I am looking for BBMP rule to construct a house in 30*50 plot. I have searched in google to get the norms like front, side and back setback and how many floors I can construct? As per BBMP norms can I construct a house with Ground floor full parking and first and second floor as a single house?. Experts could you please provide your inputs?

Hi Prem,

Please ensure if your plot comes under BBMP jurisdiction. In general, an FAR of 1.75 is allowed, that said, FAR depends on your plot size. There are few posts in the forum which lists the set back requriements by different authorities.
Ground floor parking and 1st and 2nd duplex is definitely allowed, and you can even go for 3rd floor if required..
