Covering Grill Door

Hello,

I have a Metal Grill Security Door on the terrace. In addition to the metal grill door. I have a Wooden Door (which has become weak due to constant exposure to sunlight and rains. I have alo noticed that Water leaks down the stairs from the gaps on the wooden door (There is a small gap (2 cms) between the wooden door and the Frame) I want to cover the Grill Door with a Suitable material to prevent the water from leaking into the house from terrace and also to protect the wooden door.

Can you suggest me a material to cover grill door protect the wooden door from rain and sunlight.

Could not understand completely. Is that metal door opens outside and wooden doore opens inside?. Or it it vice-a-versa?.

Hi Rajesh,

We have a Wooden door which opens inside. For security - We have installed a Grill door which opens outside.


Staircase ==> Wooden Door ==> Security Grill Door ==> Terrace

Easy and cheaper option is to use poly carbonate sheet tied with cable ties .Using screws will rust in no time .
