Re: Info on Bharathi cement's plastering Sand
Hi Anand,
i visited their office ( near besham circle),they have for plastering and concrete works. took some sample back home,.
i required for plastering , but i didnt like what they had( though there was many people enquiring about same, seemed to be good demand ).
My workers didnt like the sand i got from them, they are unable to plaster with the same.
i am using slag sand for plastering walls, its good, infact after plastering i am liking this strength more than the walls done using normal sand.
Only disadvantage of slag sand plastering is that its drying up fast ( when doing outside work) and worker are complaining of it as when they try to smooten the surface , the whole thing falls off as it dried up.
Hope this info helps.

Re: Info on Bharathi cement's plastering Sand
I am using the Bharathi sand plaster the labour at site are not Happy nor me . I dont recomend this one .
They say use 3 kg of cement for 1 bag sand but the strenght is not good , later when I call they have asked me to add more cement , plus the marketing guy claim 40 kg of sand will cover 15 sq feet/ with 20 mm thickness with less cement that is all wrong
it will cover 12 sq feet and needs more cement atleast 5 to 7 kg cement per bag .
Plus added risk is they say purchase 250 bags minimum

Thanks Nitin for the feedback. I too spoke to their technical person and he said the same thing. I was planning to buy a sample bag to give it a try.
Anyway , I felt that their price is on the higher side around Rs140 /- per cft which is not much lesser than the Tamilnadu sand price now, 300cft@42-45k
