Hi,
I am building a new house G+1 and I would like to know whether ready mix concrete or site mixed concrete is better for column/pillar construction for foundation.
Also how can we validate if the foundation work done is good or not.
Thanks
Wanted to know if ready mix or site mixed concrete is good

Site Mixed concrete would be advantageous in small construction like residential houses. This allows you to monitor the raw materials used for concrete preparation and you have full control on the ratio of sand, jelly & cement whereas with RMC you dont have this advantage.
RMC would be better in case your house construction is in a street which is busy with traffic or very narrow and you can't occupy the street

There is lot of discussions on this topic , RMC will work out cheaper and strength wise \ quality wise you will benefit . In site testing is possible (Schmidt Hammer test) In addition to the cube tests report provided by your RMC vendor. In my case RMC did better by 5MPa to So called tightly controlled site mix.

RMC batching, mixing, dispensing is automated and computer controlled and strict quality measures are taken in procuring raw materials. They need to strictly follow standards for material testing and batching and calibrate their equipment regularly if the need to stay in business. Visit a RMC plant and check out the facts yourself.
In Site mixing you cannot control water/Cement ratio , quantity of Silt in sand, water quality, Homogeneity in mixing . Even though you are staring and monitoring closely , there will be huge differences in each batch and lot of unskilled hands and minds will be involved, Especially for casting roof slabs Only first ten minutes will be well orchestrated , after that it will be total chaos ,even the most experienced will lose track. More over there will be lot of logistics issues in procuring and storing materials in your site. Its just a false mind set that Site mixing is tightly controlled not supported by any scientific facts.

Nivas : The link you shared with the info does share more insights and facts about RMC. Definitely very good info. For my construction I am using site mixing where in the engineering house which oversees the construction uses specially made boxes for proper measurement of cement/sand/jelly with the gang of workers who have been working with this house for years. The cement used is 100% PPC.

@ Nivas,
Thanks for the insight. Can you suggest the best RMC for JP Nagar 8th phase considering location of plant, travel time, quality of RMC and reliability?

Go for AVS. They have a plant in Attibele. I used for my entire structure right from footing to roofing.
