FAR

Dear friends
Am planning to construct a house on a 30x40 bda site in hbr layout. Their is a 40feet road in front of the plot. What will be the FAR ( Floor area ratio )? How many floors can i build? I heard that the FAR is increased in the city limits.

Hi Nair,
You get FAR of 2.5 ,can built up to 3 floors.Again it depends up on built up area in each floor.

Does the FAR depend on the road width also ? What it will be for a 30 X 40 plot with a 30 ft road infront in the BDA area?
