Hi Pratap,

Yes it is 14K + 2 K totally 16K for structural diagram and four site visit. If there are two many requirements from the architect for each floor then
the structural engineer has to do lot of work. When floor to floor changes are lesser then 30% then drawings of the below floor can
be used for next floor.

Site visit is essential part to save steel, but sometimes, structural engineers too miss many points, the barbender suggested to make essential which was
logical at the site. But sometimes its vice-versa. The tendcy is barbenders don't like structural engineer because too complex structural design is too much of time so,
a good barbender who understand and known to the structural engineer is also very essential.

Look at the pipe in the sump, this is an exhaust pipe for sump to allow fresh air to get into sump and evaporation of steams caused due to earth heat. This is done without core drilling at the early stage of sump construction. We missed keeping 2.5 Inch pipes for connecting Tractor/Outside water.

Had to take tough stand with Labor contractor for this crapy work, Lousy/Lazy work at the end of the day caused this issue. People become lazy after lunch and work deteriorate after that, if not monitored.

This has happened due to two things, one the water in concrete had drained out leading to only aggregate and second the connections leading to column needs to be packed during centering.

Due to shabriMalali season there was delay of 2 weeks with barbending folks and finally got the GF reinforcement and slab.

Some times it is confusing to decide what is correct. Barbending folks outsmart trying to confuse that structural engineer plan is un=necessary and instead of two way [ Box method] reinforcement crancking is required. But looks like Two way bar bending requires more time to do when compared to cranking method.

Finally there was a waste of IRON and had to call up structural engineer to site.

ANd regarding Mixing of Concrete - 2 - 3 - 6 ration or M20 grade was not followed. the contractor showed different mixes but could decide on what is rite.. finally went with 2-4-6 .

Here are the final pics of barbending.
