Granite is very smooth, so it makes the floor slippery when wet with soap water, so it is risky. Use it as wall cladding. I have used it as wall cladding in the kitchen to avoid oil stains sticking in the cracks between tiles.

Oil stain can even stick in the joints between granite tiles in the kitchen right?

Yes. However the joints will be very less compared to tiles.

Hi,Bala
Granite in toilet is suggested for other than glossy finish . The biggest mistake most people do is to avoid joints they use biggest slab possible in toilet and they fail to give 2 side slope.
In bigger slabs you cannot give 2 sided slope for water to reach the drain plate all the the time. So using granite as material is not the problem but laying will be big issue.
