Vertical Sliding UPVC windows

Hi, I have 2'/4' (W/H) windows. I am looking for UPVC windows which can slide vertically (up/down). I am hearing that vertical sliding windows has safety issues.

We are particular about having these windows, I am wondering if you guys have any recommendations for durable safe vertical sliding windows.

Hi Vishnu,
Actually my house under construction also has many 2X4 windows. Did you install vertical sliding windows ? I went through couple of upvc vendors web site but not seeing any vertical sliding windows. Any suggestion/experience in general on upvc will be helpful.

Kumar, I decided to go with Lingel windows. I couldn't find vertical sliding windows, I am going with casement type opening for width less than 3'. MOst of my windows are > 3', so i'll go for sliding type windows.
Also for bath rooms, i decided to go with awning opening (opening from the bottom to have privacy). Lingel is a German brand also they have mosquito mesh which can be sliding for casement type windows, this is a big plus. You can Google for Lingel windows to know more.
