As said above there are 100 versions of vasthu. don't know which to follow and you cannot get 100% vasthu.
We just have to follow some principles which makes the occupant of the house healthy, calm and active.

- Good Ventilation
- Simple Elevation without too many boxes inside
- Sun Light
- Easy to maintain and service
- security
- Calm Place
- Proper space management.

In the above plan, I some what feel the duct should be easily serviceable, by placing it in the middle
the place is not visible to outside and leaks are not detected. It is prone to get unhealthy place by
not cleaning frequently and lack of inflow of air. In the rainy season, when there is no sunlight
it can get worse.

One may get few thousands for having a double bed room as rent but these needs to be kept in mind.

if you need to convince yourself, just visit the house where these fraud Vasthu consultants resides. Most of these brainwashers lives in some old houses,
which are at least 30-50 years old and absolutely no relation with the vasthu principle what they preach to the blind believers.

If any of those consultants are so confident about their vasthu effect, can any vasthu consultant give us in writing the guarantee, if something (negative) things
happens to the family of that house later(job loss, accidents, robbery, chain snatching, exam failure, ill ness, rape, murder, death ..xyz....etc as his vasthu
must take care of all ill evils for them), he takes the total ownership for those events and compensates you ???? I am very confident that not even a single vasthu
consultants is ready to give anything in writing.

So don't blindly believe them. Its your money, your effort, your land and you build what you need. Do not put your effort to satisfy someone else who only
exploits your money, forces you to build a illogical things and last but not least, doesn't give any value addition to your life.

Well said Sir. I wish people focused more on practical aspects of living like getting enough sun light in all rooms, good ventilation, rain water harvesting, solar panels, planting fruit bearing trees, fragrant plants for the garden etc. Here is a brilliant blog

Thanks msn1270 , I am going ahead with same plan rather than worrying more about vasthu .
Hi venkyn , I am keeping that duct to get some light to behind house , its of size 3x5 , currently i have moved it towards stairs to ensure easy accessibility . Please let me know if that makes sense .
