The price you have paid seems very reasonable. i got a borewell done 2 months ago and water diviner charged me Rs 1500 and suggested NE corner like every body does and did display his magic skills using the copper rod. the borewelll guy took care of all the permission and the NOC and stuff. we got rock at 150 feet and had to put casing till then which bumped up our total price, water at 300 feet but not good enough hence went ahead till 900 feet and got 2 inch water. paid Rs 170000 and Rs 1500 as tips. 3 phase connection and borewell motor costed an additional 1.3 lakhs.

hi shan3377,

If you are planning to purchase motor, I had a good experience with Kavitha Enterprises, SP road.Their service and communication was very good. There are topics on this forum about the quotations from different vendors. You can check and decide.

three phase Motor is required, as depth of bore is morethan 900 ft. so single phase motor is not suitable for the purpose (as suggested by installation guys)

I have got the same quotation except the cables are Finolex and cost a bit more. One doubt about the panel. The installation guy told me the automated panel board with dry run protection has one disadvantage that when the direction of power supply changes we need to manually change the positive and negative wires every time, and that is not under our control. Is there no solution for this?Anybody else heard of this problem?

Which Borewell Vendor you went with? Kannan Borewell seems to be pretty costly by 30K. Can you please PM the borewell vendor. Regarding 3 phase, you will be taking 3phase KEB connection at the construction site. The commercial connection for 3 phase power should be very high.
