SSM required for front gating area
Is SSM foundation required in the entrance parking gate area? I am asking this because SSM is typically used in the compound wall area but not sure whether it is required for the front gate entrance area. In other words, can I do the front gate area without SSM?

Doing SSM below the gate, purely depends on the level difference between the road in front of the gate and the area just inside the gate. If more filling is there then SSM is required or else, BBM is enough.

the height difference between road in front if gate and just inside the gate is 1.5ft. is SSM required in this case?

Hi tendlu!
Since it is almost the last stage of work, you can do it either with left over bricks or with left over size stones. Take care for the placement of drain covering in front of the gate.

SSM or BBM is fine, provided you are taking care for the drain slab support.
