I would like to know about using of granite & vetrified tiles, (comparison).
How about using Kajaria & Betamcharla tiles?

It all depends on your budget .in granite you need to spend atlest 150/- per sft (including laying) to get average finishing.Tiles you get at 100/- per sft (including laying)
These are very basic range for apartment kind quality .
Granite selections are very limited and most of them dark.Light colors are stain pron .
Betamcharla finishing is not as glossy as granite and not permanent too.

Dear Forum Members;
In 2-3 weeks time flooring related work will start in my house. I have full contract with contractor with following terms and condition related to flooring.

1. Vitirfied tiles (basic rate : 50/sft)
2. Inetrior granite (in living/dining/kitchen etc) (basic rate:140/sft)
3. Staircase granite ( Basic rate : 70/sft)
4. Bathroom antiskid tiles (basic rate : 50/sft)
5. Dadooing work (basic rate: 40/sft)

Keeping above rates, What kind of tiles/granite i can expect. Although selection is by owner along-with contractor but which make tiles (brand) and granite type i should explore for decent flooring. Any reasonable brand ?

Any reply will be helpful in zeroing on final selection.

Tiles in 50/- range are in brands like naveen / simpolo / rak (very basic design) / kajaria (basic design) / asian / sonara /somany .
Granite in 70/- range will be only cut slab designs like raw silk / black / kashmir white / silver grey /
Dadooing tiles in 40/- range will be Gujarat local tiles / sonara / somany tiles

Going to brands like simpolo / asian/ sonara / somany / nitco / gujarath local will give you more choice in terms of design rather than high brands like RAK / Kajaria /Nitco

a) Among simpolo / asian/ sonara / somany / nitco / gujarath local /varmora any specific recommendation from your side.
b) rs140/sft for interior flooring, what are option available in granite in light colour shade.

Simpoli or Varmora was recommended to me by my architect as well but i have enquired at least ten shops in and around whitefield and they dont have it. Do any of you know any shop near Whitefield\Marathahalli when they have these two brands ? Thanks.
