Cost to be considered for Construction of Stilt Floor

Post by averagejoe »

Hello, I am just starting a mini-apartment (8 flats) to be shared between friends in Thubarahalli, Kundalahalli Signal. I have read in various forums that thumb rule of cost of construction would be about Rs 1400- Rs 1600 depending on quality etc.
I want to know if the cost is same to be considered for Stilt Floor which will be used for parking also?
Basically my site is 45X80 - constructing Stilt (parking)+G+3 Floors. If I construct 2800 sft per floor. Is my cost Rs 1500X2800X5 (or) is there another cost for stilt floor?

normally Stilt floor will be charged 70% of construction cost/chadra.example is if you have agreed for 140000 then Stilt floor will be charged 98000.

Yes, stilt car park area, portico/balcony area, staircase area are considered as 50% of the prevailing construction cost. So, if it is 1.5 lac/100 sqft. then the constr cost for these areas would be around 75,000/100 sqft.
