range which part of the city do u live in ?

Best is red bricks , it may take a bit of more time. labor , materials and cost, the disadvantage is the walls will be 9 inches instead of 6 inches which is in case of blocks.

Dear Krishna,
I have built my house entirely with Clay wire cut bricks with no plastering. Wire cut bricks are of course much stronger compared to Table mould bricks. The reason being that only very few factories (the richer ones) produce wire cut bricks and the burning process is very good.
@ausraja- There is a newer development. You can get 6 inch wire cut bricks also now. My suggestion is to go with Anjaneya bricks and tiles. If you want contacts and price details, please pm me.

Naga

What is the cost comparison between 6 inch concrete blocks vs 6 inch wire cut bricks? I know bricks cost more
But now we can have 6 inches vs 9 inch old days, saves money and space. Also bricks saves plastering costs. Only thing Is we might have to do pointing might cost slight more labour.
