Recommended Gauge for external MS railings
what is the recommended gauge for external staircase MS railings? 14 or 16 gauge?

Hi,
16 gauge is sufficient if the design has close spacing ,like vertical support at every 3' max and horizontal support at every 1' - 9" .
14 gauge is required if you plan for very open type railing like glass / wood fixing .
For regular type railings 16 gauge is sufficient .
