@ Chida_gs.

Your right, when i saw the Cut Pieces they had different grains, The problem is that we are using teak only for Main door frame and they wouldn't cut seperately for us due to the less quantity. What we tried to do is to look at wood with similar colour. Post polishing i guess it might not look as good as a single log wood. i am getting some carvings done on the frame hopefull it should camouflage this.

@ Vaibhav m.

Redsal frames and honne shutters are included as part of the contract. As a personal choice i like wooden windows over the UPVC. This is also as per the Elevation plan that i received from Architect.

Hi,

After seeing your Main Door Frame (Nice design), I just thought & sharing my inputs.
Is it not danger to Keep the Single Window next to Door Frame in the Main Door, Majority of the Theft will happen from this single window as Thieves will break the Glass & Open the Door Lock & go inside (If there is Single Door Lock & Kept in Middle of the Door)

Better you should keep 2 Door Locks for this Main Door - One at Top & Other at the Bottom (Which is not approachable to Hand from Window).
This 2 Door Lock method will also give strength to the Door.

Now a days People are avoiding this Window next to Door Frame & keeping this Window little far for Door Frame

Hi,

I agree, Hence we have made the window only half of the door height, we are planning to have two lock system. I have a similar thing in my apartment that I am currently staying.
And also i guess the the window will be on the left side of the door once it fixed and door opens Clockwise (Right to left). Hence the locking system will be on the extreme right side of the door and cannot be accessed through the window.
I need to check this once again. The plan was to have the inverter and shoe rack below the window to one corner

7 Feet walls have been constructed, Only thing pending is placing the main door frame which will happen today evening/tommorow.

I have also sent request to Axis for second disbursement, Keeping their lead time in mind its better to send request early :)

Just got to know from contractor that there is sand lorry strike for lorries coming from Tamil Nadu. However 95 odd lorries did pass the Hosur border without being stopped. Little confusing just have to wait and watch.

yesterday i got building construction license (Green color form) from Panchayat has anyone taken this before? I got to know about this from Axis bank Rep

One of the main window has a crack and a hole..Somehow this got missed while selecting the wood.. Contractor said it will go while finishing. but not very comfortable they way it looks.. Is there anything that can be done to protect this?

Hi,

Elevation comes very Nicely, I think I missed your initial House Plan copy. After seeing your elevation i noticed that you have 2 Stair Cases - One is inside and One at Outside.

Since it is duplex house, why did you go for 2 Stair cases, is there any plan to construct above the Duplex House. Otherwise it would have saved your space as well as Cost of Construction.

How many Cars you can park in that Space (Is it 4 or 3 Cars + 1or 2 Bikes)

Thanks Chida_gs ,

I have the external staircase for future construction. 3 cars can be parked and 2 bikes. However i a planning to make a small garden on the north side for the lenght of the site.

we havent got any new sand loads, The contractor was telling the current price was around 28K, he also said the alternative would be to get sand from some place in AP.
