Today My first bath room wall got tiled - and I got a defective bunch !!
After laying I see that Tile has uneven bends in corner.
There are two colours of tiles , The dark coloured tile is defective - looks bad when one is next to another.
However to prove tiles layer skill all the light colored tiles are fixed clean.
Tiles layer says grouting can hide them to an extent.

I did not expect this at-least from a branded company - Kajaria.

PS : all the four corners are protruded in dark tile - center part is hollow.
planning to write to kajaria company !

magblr: We bought most of our sanitary fittings and Tiles at "Tile Print". My feedback is as follows,

Sanitary fittings: Good collection, but as most showrooms, they deal with a subset of brands. They don't stock Kohler, Grohe etc. We found Roca+Jaquar to meet our requirements and went ahead with it.
Tiles: Reasonable variety, but not comprehensive. The tiles are imported (China, I presume). Either you like their designs or not. In general, I found the tiles to be expensive. Towards the end of our construction, I found better shops with better tiles at cheaper prices.
Service: Very good. The sales person was very patient and the billing/delivery was taken care of very well. For one bathroom, the wall tiles delivered were from two different batches and hence the shade was different. They replaced the tiles for us, even though some had been laid.

My suggestion would be to first finalize the company for the sanitary fittings and then identify the shop, which deals with them. For tiles, I think you should look else where.

ddn: Thank you for your inputs.I did visit them once to check .Like you rightly said they push Roca & Jaguar products more.

I did not see the tiles any way. Can you please suggested a place for vitrified tiles for flooring and bathroom tiles .

Thanks in Advance.

Cheers,

Kajaria rep - visited the site
Said they can't do anything if tiles are layed. Could not convince him on layed tiles.(says its layer's mistake)
Lesson learnt : Instruct tile layer not to lay tiles if he feels tiles are bent.
