Centering is off

After doing the plinth beam, lintel and also in roof slab, the centering after removing the centering plates etc, is a little off (instead of 9" width, it is around 8" or so; not in alignment with the brick on the top or bottom) in a few places. Just wondering whether this kind of deviation is just a regular thing. Any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening in the future and how to fix it as well?

I too had the same issue in some area. Contractor told me that it is the impact of vibrator application. I am not too convinced. Now the plastering is done and has covered it up.

This is a example of a poor construction. The plastering is going to be more thicker becoz of this.

in any case, i am told these are little deviations that happen during construction process. But in any case,

a) will this have any structural impact
b) if the plastering is thicker, would that cause any issues?

need your expert opinions to take it back to the engineer...

Due to bulge in the beam, the entire wall and the beam may have to be plastered thicker, which is a national waste of materials and will also lead to air cracks on the surface of the wall. There is no structural implication due to this. Ask the engineer/contractor to Use mesh (plastering mesh) for the joining of all beams & wall also Columns & wall when plastering. Let the engineer take more precaution for the next floors. Good luck.
