Shower Partition

I am renovating my 8x5 bathroom and I am planning a glass shower partition in it. The shower, EWC and Wash basin are in-line and the problem I am facing is that the distance between EWC and the shower seems to be less to put a partition in between. Can someone please recommend the ideal distance between the wall and the shower partition and from the shower partition to the EWC, considering that the bathroom measures 8 feet x5 feet?
