Teakwood - Main and Pooja Door

Have brought Teak wood for Main Door and Pooja Door from Sankar Timbers on Mysore Road near Indian Statistical Institute/Printing Press.

These are my specs
Main Door - 7x3 Section of 7 ft height with 6 ft width (Door and window on left side)
Pooja Door - 6x3 Section of 7 ft height with 5 ft width (2 Doors)

Please share your valuable inputs.. and any experience with the vendor. He was very informative and gave lots of insight on wood and their family is in the business for times and suggested.

Also with all the in sights I did my research in the market and found he was right and was able to get better bargains from the others. Finally called Sankar Timber guy and said I want to place the order and he welcomed my decision and gave me option to pick from any log he has and he will cut to size and charged me same rate as 5X3 section rates for requirement 7x3 and 6x3 section. but in the Market as I raised my section sizes rates use to go up...

Nopes. I m nt a big fan of teek.Just came across this site and found interesting designs here so shared it. I have purchased 50mm steel doors for main door from prathamwood mumbai.
