wall cladding materials

hi friends
i had worked with some contractors before few years back in an serviced apartments i saw some natural wood and rock type texture and colours. which was made with cement mortar i am i search of these peoples if i found them i will post the number. And we can see such type of flooring in Mocha cafe shop lavelle road Bangalore. when we see the flooring we get an idea it.

In market their are some materials available like wooden texture they are, EVEREST roofing company wooden planks and tiles which is 1000mm X 150mm in size the rate may be stats from 800 per piece.

My Architect was recommending on Shera board for external wall cladding.. this is fiber material with gypsum bond.... let me know if any have tried this...I have seen few houses using this as cladding in Nagarbhavi, which I was planning too.

Hi,
HPL - high pressure laminates are used for exterior wooden finish cladding .In general they have life of 20 years in average with out fading .But you dont get the wooden 3d textures on these.These panels are pretty flat and maintenance free.Price rages at 300- 600/- per sft depending up on brand and quality.
The other alternative is SHERA pannels .These are fiber cement board used for exterior cladding ,skirting,gates etc..These pannels comes in white base with 3d texture of wooden grains.These need to be painted and polished as and when it fades off.These cost approx 60-90/- per sft .
Shera pannels are widely used in india now.You do have lot of other brands in this segment now.

i enquired with fundermax HPL - high pressure laminates it looks good and it cost rs340 per onwards per sqft it is quite expensive for me and my budget doesnt allow and then i contacted sheera price is less and it is affordable rs77 per sqft and polish and fixing is extra.

These materials are not handled by regular tiles or hardware shops.They have specific channel partners in Bangalore. You can contact the company they will guide you .In general for architects like us these companies maintains a relation ship manager who takes care of our requirements and get them executed through channel partners
