Plastic vs FRP vs Stainless steel OHT

I googled about differences bw plastic and SS Water tanks and seems like plastic tanks are not good for health.

Please provide your inputs on this. Will SS Tank suitable for Hard water and how much it will cost for 1000 ltr capacity.

To avoid direct UV Exposure to water tank , i was thinking to cover it with concrete wall. Will it work?

Hi ,
This is the first time I am hearing of an SS water tank .
I have thoughts of buying triple layer plastic water tank ( Kaveri ).
I feel we should not be worried too much on this aspect . Living in Bangalore itself is more hazardous compared to plastic tanks ( which I think 95% of population use )

Has anyone used Kaveri Rectangular Loft Tanks

Can we use 1000 Ltr Loft tank for OHT after building concrete wall around it.(As loft tanks are made for Indoor use and can not be used by placing in direct sunlight) It will be safe for health as well as water will remain cool in summers.
Or any other brand which provide OHT with FDA Quality?

I got the quote of triple coating - Kaveri plastic tank-black 1000 Ltr is 5600/-

I recently installed 'Ganga' plastic water tank. 1000 ltr is 5500. Its a triple layer.

Came across FRP Water tanks which are better than plastic tanks in terms of health.
1000 Ltr will cost 11000 and 1500 Ltr will cost 14250 + VAT + Transport (From Brigade road)
