overhead water tank recommendation

in market there are various brand of overhead tank available like kaveri, sintex and others, out of them some have ISI mark and some are double/triple layer with various colors.
I am looking out for 1000 liters overhead tank, pls share your recommendation.

Even, I am searching for the same and my plumber told that I should go for the one in Yellow color. I think Kaveri and Syntex seem to be more reputed ones in Bangalore.

Go for a triple layer tank from sintex or other reputed brand. The price difference will be about 3000 between Sintex and a cheap tank for 1000 liters. The tank is going to last a very long time and buying a cheap tank to save 3000 rupees may not be worth it.

Sintex is a best brand i do agree ; We dont want to pay money for the brand , only for the quality of the product. In bangalore Kaveri is most reliable one and i havent seen any one complain about the quality of plastic.

Quality wise Sintex & Kaveri are the same. Price wise, there is a heavenly difference. Sintex retails at 6 & kaveri retails at 4.8 per litre.

you can try vectus tanks. they are also of good quality and the top lid is not like a flap which we see in most cases, but it is like a lid of jar, where we need to turn.

If cost isn't a factor....ICP tanks are the best, money can buy in Bangalore. Approx 10/ Litre.

What is ICP? How do they compare with good quality Sintex and RCC tanks. I plan to go for 3 tanks of 2000 litres each, and I need to get the best quality and life. Price not an issue, but still need an indicative price.
