Does BDA plan for Nalas/Moris ( big drainage canal) in adv ?

Post by jackalbda »

Hello All,

My brother is planning to buy a plot in Anajanapura 3A block. Next to the proposed site, there are two more sites and then it is marked "Private Land". When we talked to the BDA supervisor, he told that after the neighbouring two sites, there is a morri planned. When asked more, he said its the same rain water drain that runs infront of every house in a BDA layout.

Question is, if BDA plans for a big drainage canal ( not the small one ), wouldn't they have dug it already , during the development phase ? Or is there still a chance that BDA will come and dig the drainage later , after the sites are all allotted and marked ?

TIA

If there is any lake or water bodies nearby your land during the land acquisition phase, there will be storm water drainages(Raja kaluve) will be there naturally. They may do the concretisation of the same sometimes later. But the acquired land was just an agricultural or barren land, it may not have those main exist points for water clearance. So they do these things at their sweet time. You need to get verified these things with the detailed plan of that layout.

What you are expecting is an ideal condition. In india, anything or everything happens at any stage. There is no system
or procedure followed in the execution phase.
