RCC Sump cost

Post by ssuresh67 »

Hi

I am planning to build a RCC sump in the front portico of my house. Plan to have about 5feet by 8 feet and with 6 feet depth giving about 7000 lts capacity.

Can someone pls. advice on what would be labout cost and material cost.

I toyed with the idea of a sintex sump but then gave up as I was not sure if it would withstand the weight of a vehicle parked on it and also of the 1-2 feet of soil piled up on it (as I wish to have the sump a little below the ground to use its capacity fully.

Thanks & Regards,
Suresh

It cost Rs 10 per litre of capacity for me to construct the sump ( steel supplied by me). But I think this is on a higher side. So a decent rate could be Rs 7-8 per litre of capacity ( steel cost extra)

Thanks for the various feedback.

Is the number of Rs10/- per liter for RCC or brick sump?

I have got a quote today of 24/- per liter (inclusive of waterproofing).
